I have been travelling to Ibiza, a few times a year, for six years now. My first time was in 1983 and I finally returned in 2014, on a hen weekend. Since that 4 day trip, I come back every year, as often as I can. Sometimes I travel solo and other times come with,or meet friends here. It seems that I have become such a regular, people think I actually work there…….I wish!
I have had so many adventures and met some amazing people, as well as some who were not so amazing!! I have walked for miles, travelled on the buses all over the Island and Formentera, hired a moped, caught water taxis everwhere, been to day clubs, night clubs, VIP events, bars, discos, restaurants and visited many of the hotels. All the while, practising my spanish language skills or rather trying to, but oh, it’s so difficult. However, I have a friend, a very old Spanish lady, who teaches me Spanish every day (unless I’m hungover, then it has to be English), but I also help them out with English language/phrases that they can use in their restaurant. She introduces me to the other Spanish folk and because I am trying to learn their language, they treat me like family. I still can’t understand half of what they’re saying though, I just nod in the right places and keep saying …. si, claro, si!!

Over the years, I have taken so many photos in Ibiza, I thought, perhaps I could use this space to post some. I have one particular group of friends who regularly join me in Ibiza, we have had so many good times together, over the years that I couldn’t do a blog without mentioning them. The memories we share are so precious, so these photos include some of them, hope you like them?
As I’m sure you’re all probably aware, this is my first attempt at blogging, so please be patient with me while I learn the ropes and any tips please do let me know.
